Seriously, it will be very hard to get away from this tight spot which your friend has gotten herself into. Especially so, if he is her superior, and has to work closely with him. Matter of factly, where sex is involved, the party that suffers the most humiliation, when it comes out in the open, is usually the woman.
Either he loses interest in your friend, in due course... or her quiting, I don't see how the issue will end in your friend's favour.
