aye, those were the days... the great southall in goal, radcliffe marshalling the defence with gary stevens, reid controlling midfield, sheedy running riot, graeme sharp supporting lineker.
i m a pool fan, and the merseyside derbies were the biggest games of the season, period. i wished that pool could somehow get their hands on sheedy then cos he posed so many problems for pool!!! but the jinx man was pat nevin!!! he practically specialised in scoring against pool!!!
my good friend is a lifelong evertonian!!! will try to convince him to get a nick and start posting here!!! damn, the guy has some much to talk about about his fav team. still remember him telling me stuff like trevor steven has 8 'O' level distinctions!!!???
