Just wondering if any bros here had experience on whether the bar/gogo girls allow photography? Is there any unspoken rules on this...?

bro, don't be crazy. u will end up getting beaten up or kena extorted. think about it...if u are topless or wearing super skimpy clothes and dancing on stage, u ok for strangers to take pics of u and post to the internet, meh?

a lot of these bars and run by the local mafias and trust me, u wouldn't want to mess with them.

If you go to Soi Bangla, there're hundreds of bars and gogos. If you cruise around, you'll see girls dancing on the stage next to bars and majority of the dancers are ladyboys but once in a while real girls will dance. Just ask mamasans or dancers if you can take photos of them, that's all. Just be generous and buy them drinks, they're there to make money and have fun!
